God's Stewards of Land of Tranquility
Gaines and Mary Smith married in April of 2014. Both native of Central Texas, they are now retired . Gaines has worked as a church song director and in the construction business. Mary taught elementary music for 35 years. As a child she sang gospel music with her family, the Bell Family Gospel Singers.
They are members of the Salado Church of Christ. Their ministry is to provide a quiet, private place for individuals who need to refresh their souls and their relationship with God, and to provide a place for churches to meet. or for families to hold reunions, and to promote musicians of gospel music.

God has blessed us with a beautiful, peaceful piece of property. We are in the process of developing Rv spots, picnic area, kitchen facilities, a performance stage, fishing pond, bathroom facilities, and tent camping spots. We wish to share our private property with Christian churches free of charge.
Individuals, as well, can just come to get away from the noise of the city, If you wish to spend the night, you can bring your own tent. There are small fees if using one of our prepared tent sites. or 30 amp RV spots . You can reserve our kitchen and picnic area for family reunions or business retreats.
Some events will not be as "tranquil" such as Bluegrass pickin' parties, gospel singings, fish fries, or fire pit songwriters pickin' circles, etc.
